Olga I. Knyaz as the professional artist has graduated theLviv State Institute of the Applied and Decorative Art (the Art Cloth Faculty) in the1986. At that time this Ukrainian art university had the rich traditions of the Europeandecorative art and it had the most powerful decorative art cloth faculty in the all formerSoviet Union.
     In the 1989 she began  to work in Moscow  in thecreative cooperation with Yaroslaw A. Rozputnyak. Thiscooperation has as the result  the creation of the new Russian author's tapestrystyle differing from other artists because of  the application of the theory of thecurative influence of the art works, the special art and technological decisions.
     Olga I. Knyaz as the artist-weaver develops and manufactureshers  author's tapestries accordingly the personal projects and makes them with hersown hands by method of hand weaving. The tapestries are  fulfilled as the individualworks of art, hers works differ from other similar works as having a particular purpose tobe a valuable art work for the owner and to have a long lifetime. The technical quality as the basis of a long lifeof the  tapestries is the subject of special attention artist's group. For this reason, the artist works out every work as  the art work for a long use, as a familyinheritance. She makes every work with great love as it is one of artist's children.
     Now the mission of Olga I. Knyaz's art group was appreciatedand  is supporting from many  people in the Russia. Since 1989, when she hascreated her art direction, her art group made for the private collections in the Russiaand in  other countries more than 140 author's art tapestries. In the 1998 was thefirst personal exhibition of the artist's group in the Moscow.
